The exact cookies and pixels we set, and how to switch the optional ones off.
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies Less-Tools.com uses, and how to control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy. We keep the list short on purpose, and there is nothing hidden in it.
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. A “pixel” is a tiny piece of code that does a similar job, reporting an action back to a third party. Together they let a site remember things, stay secure, and measure how people use it. Some are essential for the site to load at all; others, like the advertising pixel, are optional.
Here is everything in use. We do not run Google Analytics, and our fonts are served from our own domain, so the usual trackers those bring are not present.

Loading some tool logos also causes your browser to request small favicon images from Google’s public favicon service. That is a request to Google, not a cookie we set.
In your browser. Every major browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) lets you block or delete cookies in its settings, either for all sites or for this one. Blocking essential cookies may break parts of the site; blocking advertising cookies will not.
The advertising pixel. You can limit Meta’s advertising cookies in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, and through industry opt-out pages such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (youradchoices.com), the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org), and, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu. Many browsers also offer a global privacy or “do not sell/share” signal, which we honor where required.
Affiliate cookies. These only appear if you click an outbound tool link. If you would rather not be counted, you can clear cookies after visiting a tool’s site, or navigate to the tool directly instead of through our link.
Where the law requires consent for non-essential cookies, using the site with those cookies enabled indicates your consent, and the controls above let you withdraw it at any time.
